“Ocean Action” is an escape game that was designed for the association LIA - ROPSE and the organisation of Centre Scientifique de Monaco.

The escape game was designed to be a medium for the organisation to raise awareness among the general public about various topics like ocean conservation, marine biodiversity, coral reefs, etc.

  • Before the game, the players and/or their guardians were provided with a double-sided flyer - one side with information on the association Lia- Ropse, and the other with a short introduction and objective of the escape game.

  • For the day of the event in addition to the Escape room, a painting workshop was conducted for the children, where-in they were provided with hand-made fridge magnets in the theme of the ocean, which they could paint and take with them as souvenirs.

  • An online survey was conducted for the general public in the city as part of user research and analysis of the project.

Shown above are some of the ‘puzzles’ or challenges that the players encounter within the escape room.

Each of these puzzles were individually ideated and tested before integrating into the context of the escape game.
